Restaurant at Grand Hotel Therme
The Challenge
Grand Hotel Therme contacted us regarding an acoustic issue. The main goal of the complex is to make every stay unforgettable, offering a variety of SPA facilities, luxurious accommodation, and international cuisine. All of this creates an exceptional experience in close connection with nature. The food at the complex reflects the craftsmanship of its chefs, with every dish served being a culinary masterpiece. Elegance, premium ingredients, and exquisite flavors are the hallmarks of the hotel’s restaurants. The challenge we needed to address was in the hotel’s main restaurant, which has a total capacity of over 150 guests. When the hall was full, the space would begin to echo, and both guests and staff complained about the reflected noise, which made conversations difficult and created discomfort for diners.
Our Solution
The Acoustic Force team carried out a free on-site inspection in the town of Banya to assess the restaurant hall and determine the necessary acoustic treatment. We took measurements and calculated the total area of the hall, allowing us to perform a software analysis and develop the project.
The challenge we faced was the hall’s design, which featured an entirely wooden interior. We needed to select an appropriate panel model that would blend seamlessly with the décor without compromising the restaurant’s aesthetic appeal.
The Execution
In less than 14 days, we managed to produce over 100 panels and deliver them to the client. Although the installation was not carried out by our team, we provided clear and precise instructions for mounting the panels. Additionally, we offered budget-friendly advice to further improve the restaurant hall’s acoustics, such as upholstering the chairs and booths.
